Hi, I’m Joshua.

I’m an SF Bay Area photographer focused on capturing genuine, atmospheric, and lasting. No matter what I’m shooting, I aim to create something that resonates.

I’ve been behind the camera for over 15 years, ever since I was a kid I was curious about the way light moves through space. That curiosity has shaped how I shoot today. With patience, intention, and a focus on feeling.

With a degree in geography and over a decade of experience in Silicon Valley, I understand what it takes to bring something to life. That background helps me read environments quickly and intuitively, while making the people in front of my lens feel at ease.

I’m drawn to moments that tell stories; subtle looks, movement, texture, light. My work covers people, events, and objects with the same level of attention and intention.

When I am not shooting, I find myself backpacking the Sierras or skiing with my wife. I love hockey, and all sorts of different genres of music.
